  1. Alright I've read around that the clevo 580m dose not work with msi, and I've seen that the dell version works. does any body have any real life experience with this upgrade. A dell gtx 580m out of a alien ware and stuck it in a MSI GT680R 16F2 and have it work? the mechanics are easy enough for me i'm just studying the software side, any experience would be appreciated thank you.

  2. Thanks Oxnar. I'll download the file after my fifth post. I've been following forums for MSI computers since I bought mine last year. I would like to say that finally its nice to see and hear a grup of independent individuals who like what they do, and is good at what they do. This is a great site and people like me who really want to catch up with the computer tech curve really appreciate it. Thanks guy's your rockin it!!

  3. Hello I would like to start this thread out by saying money set aside, "Where not going to worry about money or costs on this one" I'm looking for tech and spec info on this one for my knowledge thank you.

Lets say I have a MSI GT680R with 32GB of DDR3 1600Mhz ram, and I do a unlocked bios letting me have the ability to use up to 2133Mhz ram speeds and everythings fine and working. Since 4 X 2133Mhz seems to be unstable at this time. I decide to use 2 X 8 2133Mhz.

OK now is there a performance difference just in using the four slots instead of two? Would using 32 gb of 1600Mhz on four slots out perform the 16 GB of 2133Mhz on two slots. and if the amount of ram makes it an upset situation. lets call it even across the board and say 16gb of 1600Mhz on four slots and 16gb of 2133Mhz on two slots ANY BODY!!!!

  4. Hello Oxnar this is the info i pulled off my machine my bios version does not match exactly mine is Ver:3.0U. Is the .30Z or the 3.05 compatible with my board. I'm really only interested in the

    - XMP RAM support (Up to 2133Mhz) [Warning: 4 DIMMs at 1866Mhz(+) may not be stable, 2 DIMMs are stable at 2133Mhz]. - TPL limits unlocked (With the combination of ThrottleStop, CPU throttling can be overcome).
