For multimedia I would upgrade the RAM or make sure its possible to upgrade to 32GB afterwards.. all multimedia software is very RAM hungry.. it takes as much as RAM as it can have, since it buffers all images.

Divinity: Original Sin.. one of the best RPGs I have played in a long time!

Virtual Reality will change the market again, because its so demanding.. you need framerates up to 90FPS for the consumer version 1.. means the game has to run in 180FPS basically.. no console can handle such high frame rates atm.. So I am sure VR will definetly push the PC / GPU market again..

Check out the site Co-Optimus - Your Prime Source for Co-Op Gaming - Home Page .. they have a very good database and you can search for split-screen games..

If you want to run VR, especially Oculus Rift i wouldnt go for SLI because it reduces latency.. and does more bad than good..

If you are german based, I would check out mifcom laptops.. they built their laptops on their own and i think its a really good bang for bucks ratio!

I am a developer of Oculus Rift experiences.. Rift Away.. maybe you have already tried some stuff.. just got a new notebook with a GTX 880M to demo some stuff.
