I have a p170sm-a flashed with your modded bios but my Turbo still doesnt seem to work as it should.

I have a 4710mq and i only get about 2.7ghz max...

I checked the bios and it says turbo boost is enabled, so i dont know what is the problem...

Ok, nvm... I found out the benchmark i was using prime95 didnt use all of my cpu...

With other benchmarks i get it to 3.0-3.2ghz ... but thats still not its full potential. And there is no throttling going on I think, since intel's XTU doesnt report trothling and the temps 'only' are around 73°C... so any ideas to get to the full 3.3Ghz?

I dont think my fans are working at max speed... I think they could cool better.

Is there a tool/program to adjust the fan speeds/treshold? Just to be sure it has nothing to do with temperatures...

I was wondering if you managed to unlock the bios of the MS-1762(17'') to support 1600mhz mem?

Last time i was here it wasnt unlocked and you were working on it.

I dont like to come over as being difficult or something, but id rather keep it as safe and secure as possible and i'd prefer to have it with the Bios that was meant for this laptop.

I certainly also understand you have other/better things to do than this, so maybe you know some good site that has usefull info that could teach me how to do this?

Its from a msi whitebook laptop with an i7 3720qm cpu and GeForce GTX 675m GPU...

I think its a MS-1762, but im not sure because the MSI Whitebook site only lists it with a GTX 670m (and not with GTX 675m, like i have?)

If you could unlock it, that would be so awesome!

You can always try the GT70 BIOS. I hear it works fine in the 1762.

But that will make me lose my windows licence, right?

And i just got mine with the 675m... but im still happy with it.

The 680m looks like a beast. I wonder how hot it gets

The only reseted bios i have has SLIC 2.1 already injected in it, is that a problem?

Hello do you have a (stable) modded bios for the ms-1762 whitebook? Because the links seem to be left blank in your post?
