GPU heatsinks with pipes are separated from CPU . CPU have little heatsink under fan only .

Can any1 tell me what temps should get with P375SM-A i7 4940 and GTX 880M ??when gaming.Thanks

My card is broken and throttles at 93 degrees so I usually don't use it. Guess I was just unlucky.

Not sure if your model has the shared heat pipes. Some of the models have a connecting heatpipe between the cpu heatsink and the gpu heatsink, effectively allowing for better cpu temps but sacrifcing gpu temperatures. Maybe that's why your CPU temps are quite high and your GPU temp sare better.

Those are some impressive temps. Not sure if I have a bad heat sink or something but my GPU goes up to 93 on furmark. No throttling though, but definitely not good in the long term for the gpu.

I need to get a better power supply by the looks if it too. I'm pushing my 180w so much, it completely crashes and I need to replug it. May be a problem with the power socket in the wall as well.

A 230W power supply, I would reccommend for the flagship GPUs such as the GTX 780M or the GTX 880M, as they consume around 190W +, with a good core i7 CPU.

I was wondering this too. However, if the M295X comes out first, I believe it will be relatively better than the GTX 880M that I currently own. (2k shader cores apparently). Will it still be on the MXM 3.0b slot? And will the clevo BIOS be compatible with it.

If you aren't already doing so, you could use fn+1 to get maximum fan speed. Hopefully that should decrease temps by around a couple degrees.

I've owned both the 3630QM and the Haswell equivalent, the 4700MQ, but I have to say, I saw no standout gains in performance. I don't think its worth it to upgrade, you might as well wait for the next gen, (Broadwell IIRC).
