The BIOS is not encrypted, so it might be possible. But I have absolutely no time atm to look into this. Also there might already be an unlocked BIOS for this notebook around, I recommend looking around on the web if you need it asap.
if i find a rom tha maybe is for my notebook can you see if it will be compatible with? i am afraid to try without be sure because it is not for fun to flash bios...its first time that i see more about flash bios and i dont know so much information...thank you again..

Hello i have Hp pavilion dv7 3190 ev and the bios is locked...i mean that dont show all the settings...i read that you must flash bios with modded rom...i want to change the AHCI an have all the settings of bios....if you can help me...thank you..

i found this rom in a forum...o41072911mod.rom i dont know even how to use it...i feel n00b about flash bios
