I recently purchased and upgraded from an I5-4200m to an I7-4800mq. Let me just say the performance increase was insane. The stock cooling is a little weak so I end up using a cooling pad most times. I purchased from amazon, Intel sells direct from there brand new for 329. Just remember to get paste as well!

notepal 3 is awesome use it daily and it keeps laptop nice and cool

Both cards are great i'd def recommend 7260

Reinstall the last stable driver. I've had some issues with that driver as well.

I'm using the Samsung p930, rather old but really efficient, peak boot times are around 4-5 secs
