  1. Congrats on your new, well you get what I mean, Alienware M18x R1. That's one sick, meaning awesome gamer to have. I guess the ram frequency won't be noticeable by us in terms of a real world performance that we can feel. But it'll make a difference on benchmarks and programs that will benefit from the increase by just a little bit.

I'm sure everybody here is very happy for you!b:look_down:.

  2. I have thermal paste from Prolimatech PK-1 Nano Aluminium and its really good, CPU 41C idle GPU 36c, stress CPU 77c , GPU 69c. For me its better then Zalman or Artcic MX4.

This Prolimatech PK-1 is what i want to try next. I heard that this is really good when properly applied, but not at it's best when the pasting job isn't that good. Anyone experience this on the PK-1?

  3. Hi Nando4! :48_002:

I've actually been following your thread every so often since it started on NBR as the "let's figure out how to make a DIY Vidock" to the tremendous success that it has become as the "DIY eGPU". It's also nice to see "DIY eGPU 2.0" up and running here on Tech Inferno. I honestly think that this is the perfect home for you. Kudos to all your efforts, to the countless number of people you have helped and most importantly MORE POWER to you and ALL the DIY eGPU Users All Over the World!

  4. mww86, Michael, StamastiX & svl7- Thanks for the warm welcome everybody! This type of "welcome" coming from you "highly respected guys" makes feel quite at home. Can't wait to start hitting the threads that will help me on my current M17xR2 build. It was initially supposed to be a somewhat long-term plan it terms of doing the upgrades, but I guess I was bitten by the "upgrade bug", as I've deviated from my plan and somewhat sped things up. LOL! I guess this is what sometimes happens. :congratulatory:

  5. Hi Everybody! I've recently singed up here. I've been following NBR in the past mostly for information that I needed regarding mods I wanted to do to my laptops. I've been able to learn a lot there, thanks to everybody who (are actually already here) shares and takes the time to help other people out. NBR has been an invaluable part of this hobby of mine. So it's sad to see it "going to the dogs", so to speak.

I look forward to learning a lot more here as most of the members I personally view as very talented and very helpful all seem to be here already. :Banane16:

    Thanks.

    Sonny xD
