  1. I admire your effort, please don't take it the wrong way but we can't just use a software to make good (v)BIOS...Dell has 3 levels of throttle in BIOS alone...

Got to play with an AW17 R2 (v)BIOS couple days ago:

If you want upload a stock version and I'll look into it when I find time...

Hi, any news for the vbios?

    Thanks in advance

  2. This is my 4gb 980m Alienware 17 R2 vbios 2015

I hope that it will help Prema

I admire the work you're doing thanks

Excuse me if I have meddled in this post this way, but the desire to resolve this matter of vbios doesn't make me think.

Thank you for your understanding and I apologize again for my English

P.s. I hope that my file posted above can help you Prema (vbios Alienware 4gn 980m R2 stock 2015)

If I can do anything you ask

    Hello somejoshdude

I read that you have modified the vbios your 970m 3gb with Maxwell II Tweak.

I tried myself to open my file my 980m 4gb vbios with Maxwell II Tweak (did you notice their size equal to "109kb"),

but the program gives me error unsupported device.

How did you do to read the vbios on the program.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I fixed it I was using version 1.31 instead of 1.36

  3. Hi everyone,

    I got a new Alienware 17 r2 2015 laptop a few days ago (the one with the 4GB 980m).

I'd like to know if I can use one of the vbios by sv17 or by Prema.

I mean, I could also do the test, but I don't actually know if after flashing

I will be able to restore the previous vbios (of which I already have a safe copy).

My goal is to unlock the core clock and over voltage.

Any help or suggestion is well accepted :)

    Thank you very much
