Yes. Better choice is FPT for DOS. Download it and put to your bootable USB flash drive. Then boot in to real DOS and just type command: fpt -d backup.rom -bios
well, i tried it but i need a website a username and a password to download these files...ive googled for hous but cant find a thing...can you help me or upload those files anywhere?
-

Post here the file backup bios from your laptop.

Thanks in advance

well... You current directory is not in the place where you have the update.rom file, of course it won't find it.
Go to the folder where your vbios is, then shift+right click and choose "open cmd window here". Then try again.
finally! Thanks

It won't turn on anymore, when i hit the power button the screen stays black and after a couple of seconds it turn off and the same process repeats.
Any idea what to do ?

okay to be honest, try to remove battery an press the power button for about 10 seconds an then put battery in again and try to start it

Like this: http://i.imgur.com/9uAfyKB.pngTry opening GPU-z if it still cant detect your nvidia card
it's deteced as you see
-
Else, nvflash for windows might do the trick.
it forces close after pressing enter to continue
-
Switchable graphics? Make sure you have the Nvidia card activated and not only the Intel HD.
how to switch/activate? but normally the nvidia card must be activeded, otherwise i cannot play games like bf4

That's odd. Not sure what's going on, of course it's easy to miss something when trying to find the problem over the internet
Did you ever re-install the OS?
yes, about 10 times, different os: win7,8 , 8.1, os x, ...
What you could try is flashing the modified 675mx vbios that is posted in the kepler vbios mod thread (second post).i will try and post results,
THANKS

since i had it...but i always played on lowest setting and with resolution 1280x720 instead of 1920x1080...so i could play some games e.g black ops 2 for 2/3 h without this freezes
-
Hmm, something is odd. Your GPU temps definitely seem to be fine. What about the CPU temps?
around 80°C when gaming
Also could you do me a favor and send me a copy of that vbios? For saving it just click on the chip symbol next to the vbios version string in GPU-Z. -
-
its almost the same without overclocking ..about 10 degres less...but well ill post a picture later....
on the first picture there should stand vbios version (?!) bbt i will lokk it up again with cpu z later
-
Which vbios is on your card? Also, what temperatures do you get while gaming?
(This is with freezes)
Does this happen with other games as well? (Cause BF4 is a mess for itself)yes, but i took a bit longer till those freezes start, the as higher the reesolutionof the game is, the faster freezes appear

Hello guys,
i have a annyoing Problem with my gaming notebook: After playing a game (e.g. battlefield 4) for about 15 minutes, its starts to freeze for a millisecond and at the same time the sound sounds like a robot, if this is only happens once, it wouldnt be as annyoing. but no, this happens again and again. between this "freezes" there're max. 5 seconds of smooth gaming. If you dont understand this because my english is so fucked up ( i'm from germany) i could upload a video of this problem.
Thanks in advance
My specs:
CPU: ivy i7 3630QM
GPU: GTX 675MX
Latest drivers installed
