  1. trust me prema, i tried many times with or without XTU

im 100% sure that my ram can run at 1866@11/11/11/28, i checked with aida64 ram test, clock&timings are correctly running at 1866@11/11/11/28, and the bandwidth of ram raised to 27xxxM/s from 23xxxM/s@1600, i also run 400% memtest with oc clock&timings, 0 error

so i think my oc is ok. but somehow the oc setting cant be saved in bios

    rly need ur help, thx

  2. but no, i can boot correctly at the first time after oc to 1866, and can finish all test, and the clock&timings setting seems all right(11/11/11/28) via AIDA64, but the timings settings are already changed to 6/6/6/14 which can be seen in XTU

then, if i reboot, the system will shut down and reload default bios setting to 1600 cuz the timings setting is 6/6/6/14 at this time

thats why im so confused now

  3. hi prema, found a ram issue but im not sure it's a bug of ur bios or not

when i oc my ram from 1600 to 1866@11/11/11/28, set directly in bios or using XTU, my 157sm will boot all right at the first time, but i found that the ram will be set@6/6/6/14, a crazy setting, and my pc wont start up if i dont change the ram setting to 11/11/11/28 again

so the problem is that ram setting in bios wont stay at the value i set, it will auto jump to 6/6/6/14 after reboot, i wonder if u can check this issue

    many thx

  4. hi svl7

i just get a p157sm from the vendor "hasee"

and i find its 780m's vbios version is 80.04.92.00.0A(P2053-0001), a little different from ur modded 780m vbios

so i want to keep this version and could u help me mod this bios to unlock all oc limit plz? and it will be nice if u can set the mem clock@1500 cuz dat is the highest stable mem clock i find, then i can focus on finding highest core clock with nvidiainspector without set mem clock again and again

    thank you in advance

  5. hello,

maybe i'm the newest owner of p157sm in this forum

4700mq and 780m are rly impressive, those little monsters lol

and their temps is rly good, about 40@idle and 70@dota2

but I found dat PCH cooling is rly poor, about 70@idle and nearly 100@any game, and its temp is so hard to drop

so is there any solution to save this poor PCH?:06:
