  1. Ok that's nice.

I would like to ask you something anyways:

on the service manual there is a system diagram indicating the presence of the eDP (I think eDP mobo connector, as the DP port is indicated elsewhere) and I read a topic (July 2013, other forum) where a builder said beside the LVDS connector there is another one (unused) that "should" be the eDP, that is unused since the 150HM model.

I'm not a technician, nor a laptop expert. This is my first hardcore laptop as I'm used to be an desktop enthusiast, but is it possibile that the "mystic" eDP connector could be used to plug an eDP panel?

I really don't know much of this matter, so I apologize if all this posts are very very noobs (and spaghettolous!)

    Again, thanks!

  2. Hey !

I got a Clevo P150sm and it's just an awesome laptop! The only thing I really can't stand is the 60hz panel.

I've read somewhere that Sager replaced the standard LG panel with a 3D one, on their NP9570 (Clevo P570WM)

I'm wondering if there is any possible upgrade for the 150sm. The part-number of the screen it mounts is LG LP156WF1 (TL) (F3). Does anybody know if there is any 3D panel (I don't care about the 3D system, just the 120hz capability) compatible with this one?

I tried to check on a couple of LCD panels resellers, but none of them indicate the frequencies. But I think none of the panels listed are 3D ready (at least the LGs listed).

Otherwise, is there any possibility to install another panel? Maybe some other brand (I know Chi Mei does some 3D 15,6 panels, but not FHD) or there will be mounting issues (wrong screw position, fatter/thinner panel, etc etc)

Thanks and sorry for this cheap spaghett-english!
