So I recently ordered a M17x R3 from the Canadian Dell site and after waiting for the "In Production" status for the last 4 weeks it's finally shipped! But after checking the tracking number it was shipped via Purolator and from the states. I was wondering since it will be going through the borders to get to where I am (in Toronto), going through customs and all, are they going to charge me for customs and brokerage fees? I mean ordering from the Canadian site, one would think that it would be shipped within the borders and would not have to deal with customs and such? Or was I wrong to think that way?

Well I got an email on Saturday - to my work account, sadly - confirming the delivery date is TODAY. Problem is I'm at work!!Still, the wife is home until 11am and UPS is saying it's "out for delivery" so fingers crossed she can receive it before she leaves!So excited, not going to get any work done today.

FYI the benchmark doesn't support SLI, I have two 580's, makes no difference one way or the other.

Just did the FFXIV Benchmark on my M17X R3 (Stock) and got a 3872 on the benchmark. 1000 means the game is playable. The benchmark itself has a very odd scoring system, and the maximum amount you can get is in the 8000+'s, BUT! The highest anyone has EVER gotten on it (even on the best rigs) is about 5k~ish. So 3k on a Stock M17X R3 is pretty sweet!

Really? I really thought 8k+ was doable lol.. (I didn't look it up).. And here I was thinking when I benched it on my rig when the game came out and getting 5.6k was a sad time for lol... Sadly still waiting for my M17x

I was tempted to do it but I'll stick with the regular monitor, I could care less about a game being in 3D or not.

New Revised Shipping Date of Aug 22nd for me when I called them today .. Apparently said some parts are on backorder and will ship out via Expedited once completed.
