I always set a frame limit of 61fps via Nvidia Inspector and activate Adaptive Vsync. No more tearing or input lag due to vsync.

On top of that I get less heat and power consumption in most game titles.

Liquid Metal can of course improve the temperature, but it has some serious downsides. You can't remove it completly, so the cooler and CPU are permanently damaged.

This is important when you consider reselling. Also you need almost perfectly plan surfaces.

Not to mentionthat it's not easy to apply.

Normal paste is the way to go, as it's way easier use. Ruining the cooler and the CPU for a few degrees is not worth it in my opinion. I personally recommend the Prolimatech PK-3

With a one card setup and 1920*1080 I've never run into any limitations. even in new titles such as Far Cry4 or Dying Light

I finally got a solution for my problem. One can flash the Asus GTX 670 DC Mini with nvflash after the card is updated to the asus UEFI VBIOS via the update Tool from ASUS homepage.

Although the setup checks for an Asus motherboard, there are patched setups available => google

So I attached them as .zip archive.

I tried both files with the same result.

GL104.rom is the unaltered version and

test.rom is the altered version I tried (Just changed the fan speed as a test)

I saved the Bios file with the newest GPU-Z.

But I get the mentioned errorwith both bios files, even with original one

I got a problem using the NvFlash 5.141.0.1 DOS

I have an AsusGTX 670 OC DirectCU Mini 2GB. But everytime i try to flash the following error occurs.

error preserving inforom image.

ERROR: Failed to merge Inforom image.

As the normal flash doesn't work, I also tried:

nvflash --protectoff

nvflash bios.rom -4 -5 -6

What does this error message mean? Is there a solution for this kind of problem?
