  1. Liquid Metal can of course improve the temperature, but it has some serious downsides. You can't remove it completly, so the cooler and CPU are permanently damaged.

This is important when you consider reselling. Also you need almost perfectly plan surfaces.

Not to mentionthat it's not easy to apply.

Normal paste is the way to go, as it's way easier use. Ruining the cooler and the CPU for a few degrees is not worth it in my opinion. I personally recommend the Prolimatech PK-3

  2. As I'm new to this forum don't really know how to send you the files via PN.

So I attached them as .zip archive.

I tried both files with the same result.

GL104.rom is the unaltered version and

test.rom is the altered version I tried (Just changed the fan speed as a test)

I saved the Bios file with the newest GPU-Z.

But I get the mentioned errorwith both bios files, even with original one

    .

    Bios Files.zip

  3. I got a problem using the NvFlash 5.141.0.1 DOS

I have an AsusGTX 670 OC DirectCU Mini 2GB. But everytime i try to flash the following error occurs.

    error preserving inforom image.

ERROR: Failed to merge Inforom image.

As the normal flash doesn't work, I also tried:

    nvflash --protectoff

    nvflash bios.rom -4 -5 -6

What does this error message mean? Is there a solution for this kind of problem?
