Nice, Bios updated and a huge pack of new features enabled!!!
I have one little problem. I have the low battery beep disabled in the bios but the computer continues beeping like hell when battery is low, is there any way to solve this?

Hey prema, One more question.
My stock bios is 1.00.03 and the EC is 1.00.01. I can update directly then to your fantastic bios?
Thanks!!

OP Prema! I'm going to try the bios. I should update my stock bios first to the latest stock bios no?
-
Sure! It's the stock Clevo BIOS & EC.
It's better to ask your re-seller for the latest files in advance as downgrading to an older version bricks the system in some cases. so flashing a backup after updating to the latest BIOS is often not a good idea.
ok, but if my re-seller doesn't update the bios what can I do?

This may be a stupid question but is the BIOS you have linked to here safe to use on any Clevo W230ST, regardless of Country or "brand"?
I have one question more about. Is there any way to save the stock branded bios in order to can flash it for RMA's?

I think there is no necessary to worry about this,it works very good.the hightest temperature i seen was 85..so,you just make it easy.
Yes there are no problems with temperatures. The fan is loud when you stress the computer but no throttle and no performance issues. If you undervolt a little the CPU you can get lower temps and substituting the stock TIM by another better will lower more the temps.

Hi all from Spain!
I purchased recently a clevo w230st from a spanish retailr and looking on internet about what I can do with it (because I love tweaking and playing with hardware and software) I found the forum.
Great work !

Good job man!
I have my w230st from a the spanish clevo retailer "Mountain" and I'm very happy whit it but I coincide in some of the pros and cons.
I'm planning to add the second mSATA ssd to my configuration and replace TIM. And also waiting for Prema's magic to get a decent bios!
I have undervolted the CPU by 120mV and the temps are really lower.
I also have seen that when running on integrated GPU it never downclocs, it is normal?

The slave card shares a heatsink with the CPU so temps are higher, that's normal...but 94c is too high, if you don't overvolt the card you should repaste the heatsink...
EDIT: Latest Stock BIOS & EC v1.00.05 for W230ST added to the OP
PW: premamod.com
ENJOY!
Nice news for the w230st owners!
How is the modding of the bios going?
Thanx for your work
Best BIOS for W230ST ?
