  1. We can use it with the vBIOS but to really work properly in all situations you will also need a BIOS Mod on P1xxEM...hope to have it ready soon.

    Thanks for reply.

You mean then, that with only your vbios mod flashed on the card, the nvidia 980M will be only partially supported in P150EM?

If so, apart from the problems you listed, would there be any others, or the card basically works?

  2. Thanks for the reply :)

You mean the "80.04.67.00.01 'ocedition' revised_01" modded vbios? If yes, in fact i'm still considering the idea of flashing it...until then I think I'll keep the best official one from nvidia (anyway, the modded vbios might be flashed very soon)

  3. Hi, i need some advice about which vbios is best for 680m on a Clevo P150EM.

Originally i had the 80.04.29.00.01 vbios and I had no problems with it except the throttling that affects the 680m. Then i tried flashing the 80.04.67.00.01 hoping the throttling issue went off...but I were wrong and I didn't know that the throttling issue was in all official vbios (included the ".33" one).

Sincerely, I don't know what are the differences between the two and if the .67 could be worse than the .29 in terms of performance when used on a P150EM.

Also, I have Windows 7 on my P150EM and I read that the ".67" one was primarily designed for UEFI support (only Win8 uses it, right?) that I obviously don't have. So now, what vbios should i keep? The ".27", or 67" one? (or ".33" eventually)

    Thanks in advance

PS: for ".27", ".33" and ".67" i mean the official and original vbios from nvidia, so NOT modded.

  4. Official vbios? I don't know, most likely the latest version.

Follow my nvflash guide. Only use -6. Confirm SSID override with y. Never ever use -4 -5.

Thanks I will, the next time I'll have to flash :)

I'm only a bit worried now...a few days ago I flashed the .33 and the .67 (first one and then the other, obviously) because I wanted to test them. For both I used -4 -5 -6...do you think I may have damaged my 680m in some way? Because, after the flashing, I noticed an increase in temperature of about 3-4°, but I don't know if it is connected to that...

  5. Hi...i have a couple of questions:

    1) Which official vbios is the best for the Clevo P150EM's 680m, according to you?

    2) I need an advice for the flashing procedure...until now I have always used the command "nvflash -4 -5 -6 name.rom", but I don't know if -4 and -5 are really needed. Which should I use? Only the -6 or even the others?

    Thank you

PS: nvflash version is the latest taken from techpowerup, the 5.136 (DOS)
