I heard you a page back. That's the stock CPU code' date=' I'll PM you a version with an older code when I find time, maybe Intel blocked the accidental OC unlock for certain CPUs...[/quote']
Thanks mate, sorry I though you missed it :3

Prema,
The value you asked me is 710.
-
What CPU code is shown in HWInfo64 "μ" Window?
Hey Prema,
Sorry for answering late! The uCU = 710.

It seems I am out of luck, when using 6 cores, it go down to 35 multiplier... it only hit 39multiplier when in 1 core as far I know... Fully running = 35 multiplier.

I am running SLI gtx 780M, when flashing them supposedly they are flashed but when I go to inspector, only one damn card got flashed while the other didn't. I try everything I know and nothing I am frustrated

Maybe you didn't set your system to power mode in the Clevo Control Center?!
If you mean Performance yeah is on performance

Works for others, so something must not be in order, maybe XTU messed up the NVRAM...
- Make sure there are no XTU Software leftovers (folder/files) on the drive.
- In BIOS load setup defaults, then save and exit.
- After that do a full shutdown from windows
- While off remove the AC Adapter for 30s
- Reboot and set "Runtime Turbo" to enabled and "Runtime Core Ratio Limit" to "39" and save and exit.
Nothing changed... I am puzzled. I gotta say that I do see performance increase, I run all games way better, is more cool temperature wise etc. Why the hell would I be stuck at 35 multipliers hmmmm

Uninstall Intel XTU. In BIOS enable "Runtime Turbo" then the multi below.
Prema I did all that and still :***(

Hello Prema,
First of all THANKS! I was able to mod the bios!!! There's a problem... every time I OC the CPU on bios and get to windows it reset to the default values, in other words, is not ocing at all. I am stuck at 35 multiplier based on my 6th core (I use 3930K)

Before I brick my 570WM I need help.
bios ver: 1.02.10LS2
EC: 1.02.08SA
Those are what I have. I have don't nothing yet. How should I proceed to mod the bios? Go directly with v3 and done? Also, I don't remember if my 570wm is 3D or not, how I check that?

i asked this in this forum in a separate thread, but thought of making a new thread to address the problem quickly.
I have a Clevo P157SM ( Xenom X157) laptop with GTX 780m, recently i had this strange problem of hitting pwr cap showing in GPUz while playing farcry3 and cod ghost, which sometimes made the game stutter for a second or two, so i read up and decided to go with svl7 custom vbios . I flashed it successfully, and got a lot of options in nvidia inspector as expected, but ran into a more weird game freeze issue, which nearly ruined the gameplay, its as simple as the game used to freeze for a second and then go normal, very annoying in firefights, i tested with other games and the issue was still there. Hence its evident that it was because of the mod vBIOS somehow, i stocked it back and issue was gone. Now with the custom bios i never did any pwr cap but this problem.
Now my query is, have i done something wrong, or the clevo bios is not compatible at all, is there some issue with the GPU itself, ( i found none in the last 6+ months) , or something anything that could be wrong with the total process? i am very eager to use this modded vbios but cant due to this stupid problem. Please help me out with some insight or possible debugging. I assure that there was no throttling of the GPU for any abnormal temp, i always had 83-87 load temp at all circumstances modded or not.
To me this sound like driver issues... try to pdate your drivers and come back!

Sorry for this super newbie question. My PW570 is from factory ( is the one with 780M sli), where should I start?

Hey Prema,
Have you looked at the issue with my CPU being locked?
