Corsair m60 @ 1600dpi for most games, I crank up the DPI for flying or tanking action.

I repasted my cpu and gpu with mx-4. While the gpus have been staying 5-9c cooler at idle and load, the cpu has after initially showing benefits has degraded to having constant thermal throttling issues. The fan is clean and there's no clogging of the fins. I am thinking I might need to repasted but I am confused as to why it would degrade after initially being cooler?

This is an alienated m18x r1 2960xm processor running at 4ghz

I much favor Nvidia, AMD struggles in the driver department.

I have owned ,any Nvidia and AMD cards over the years and favored ATi before Nvidia,but over the years with ATI's struggles with drivers grew I discovered Nvidia and really find their software support innovative. AMD continues to push the bar to drive Nvidia ahead further. AMD now owning ATI's continues to seem to be "catching up" however has a much better performance to price ratio to Nvidia.

There's pros and cons to both, you really can't go wrong with either but I'd score Nvidia 3, AMD 2 in the ops criteria.

Patched this together on request, M18x R1 BIOS A05 (unlocked) with the RST 11.5 OROM.

The orom comes from the station-drivers site, not sure whether it will work fine with the M18x, though I don't really see why it shouldn't.

Btw, something's weird with the original orom in the R1 BIOS, the checksum is wrong... confusing.

Anyway, here's the BIOS, let me know how it performs. Also remember to use the latest RST driver for this ROM.

Flash with your favorite BIOS utility or the tools provided by Dell.

So is this file fixed and working? or does it brick the R1?

I ordered mine, now a long wait....I hope not.
