Hi Prema,
Do you have any plan to release the v2 mod for W230ST (with BIOS .06) ?
I am currently using the stock 06_05 on your site, can I flash your v1 mod (which is 05_05) safely? Is that considered as a downgrade ?

THX man!
BIOS v6 is already outdated...will update to v1.03.xx base once my new motherboard comes in...
It tries to run RAM @ 2133Mhz on boot but will use stock clocks if it doesn't work. You can also reduce it manually if you desire:
Thanks for your reply. It seemed that my RAM succeeded in running @ 2133MHz. But will that cause any harm to my RAM or my system? Will it be stable?

Hi Prema,
I recently updated my W230ST BIOS to your v1, after that I saw that my RAM frequency in the BIOS and HWInfo increased automatically to 2133MHz (in stock it was 1600MHz). Is this normal?
By the way, I see that there is a newer BIOS (B06) for this laptop, do you know what changes it brings ? Will it increase battery time ?
Thank you and donated

Hi Prema,
Thank you for this new update. However I couldn't download the BIOS for P150EM_17_11_PM_v2. I tried downloading it here P150EM / NP9150 | Prema Mod but it says the file is "Temporary Unavailable". Can you fix the link please ?

Yeah I double checked with HWInfo and it showed Prema Mod BIOS, so everything is fine. Thank you, please keep up the great work

Hi Prema,
First of all I would like to say thank you for your hard work, this is really great and is exactly what I am looking for.
I am using an P150EM with AMD 7970M, and I successfully flashed the EC/BIOS and ME firmware with the files providing on your blog. However, I'm not sure if I did the right thing and got the right BIOS version. Here is a screenshot:
As you can see, I have the EC version with the "PM" tag, but BIOS version not, and I don't see any menu to configure/OC RAM as shown in this review, is this normal ?
Besides, my screen always flashes once at the boot logo (since the time I bought it), which slow down the boot time a lot, is this also normal? And if not, is there anyway to fix it ?
Thank you

wow I wonder how they can fit 3 fans into this machine, as I see only 1 vent ?
Edit: my bad, I didn't notice the vent on the bottom and the side
