I have a nvidia 680m 4 gb with bios version 80.04.29.00.01 on alienware m17x r4.

can I flash this card with another vbios in the list (es.80.04.33.00.10 OCedition revised 01 OV-1.025v)?

I would like a higher vcore.

I see that many have underclocked the 7970M with a VBIOS to 0.975 v.

From what I understand, this is because there are problems of power between the 920XM overclocked and 7970M.

If my m15x is equipped with a 820QM,Can I flash a VBIOS 1.100v to push the 7970M at higher frequencies without problems?

Before replacing the 7970M, I need to update the notebook bios?

Which version do I put?
