  1. So would that involve just copy/pasting every GTX 880M reference from the old driver INF into a new set?
  2. So far the sound seems fine. One thing I have noticed is that I can't upgrade the drivers past the newest version that Eurocom has on their site, so there are some rendering issues in my test game Fractured Space.
  3. I re-seated the card and now it boots. Got the drivers installed and all seems well, but the GPU thermal throttles. Next challenge to tackle.
  4. I downloaded and installed the A12 unlocked bios successfully, and followed the Eurocom Youtube tutorial on how to set the bios and install the GTX880M. I only get 6 beeps on startup and no post or screen of any kind. What am I missing?
  5. I've used IC Diamond for years with good results. Couldn't find my stash recently so I used AS Ceramique on my lid-less CPU. Works fine, too.
  6. Ok, so I installed Windows 7 Pro from an unused copy I had. All ram is detected properly. The 2960XM works perfectly well after installation. One unique issue I found was two "unknown devices" in the device manager. One was the free fall sensor driver, and the other was the Alienware On Screen Display driver.
  7. Looks like the OS is the problem. Windows 7 Home Premium does not support more than 16GB. I need Pro or better.
  8. I'm running Win7 Home Premium and the CPU is an i& 2670QM. I have a 2960XM that will be going in shortly.
  9. I just swapped out my 4x2GB DDR3 chips for 4x8GB Gskill DDR3 to max out the mainboard. Task manager only sees 16GB while CPUZ sees the full 32GB. Upgrading the bios from A09 to A12 didn't solve it. Would anyone have ideas why this is?
