macbook pro 17 2010 express card egpu?

is it possible to do a egpu with the express card on a 17" macbook pro would there be any problem with the integrated graphics?

if the integrated gpu is giving problem would i be able to use lucudlogix virtu?

i know the  expresscard is pretty old but how much performance would i gain anyway by using a gtx 760?

i know there is a 17inch  macbook pro  with thunderbolt but i can't seem to find anyone  selling it where i live... and i really like the big screen so a 15inch is not what i want...
