ragingazn628
Hey guys,I completely forgot how to use ThrottleStop. What settings do I need to maximize my 2630QM's overclocking performance?
mw86
I will recommend checking cmod or chipmod to 100% whichever your cpu uses for throttle. lock multiplier at turbo for benches. Baseclock for increasing your speed.

svl7
If there's a Baseclock option for your system it can only be found in the BIOS, that's also the only way to overclock a non-extreme CPU. Not much TS can do here, only the stuff mw86 already mentioned, but this won't change a lot in your system.
ragingazn628
Do I edit the TRL / TPL / C7 / DTS / CLR?
mw86
Do I edit the TRL / TPL / C7 / DTS / CLR?those are helpful on XM chips except if in Throttle stop you hit dts it will show not the temperature but rather the distance in celcius from the thermal limit which is probably set at 100C. If you have an unlocked bios you can enable C7 and it will help stay just a little cooler and use a tiny bit less watts on idle... most of the C-state options are not exposed on a bios that isn't unlocked.
