(Link) Overclocking: I used nvflash/maxwell bios tweaker to raise max temp target/power limit. The power limit is raised to a max of 175% but I really wouldn't recommend running it at that level. Download nvflash + maxwell bios tweaker + 175% bios (GV-N970IXOC-4GD only!!!) MSI Afterburner settings: Surprisingly, the little card is very stable at these settings. Raising the memory clock to 8GHz introduces some artifacts however. 100% vs 140% Powerlimit (FurMark) Big thanks to Tech Inferno Fan, goalque and the rest of the Tech|Inferno community!
gg1
I'm looking to build a setup similar to this. Can you tell me if the Gigabyte mini 970 is able to use Optimus for internal screen usage (as opposed to having to use an external monitor)? And you don't happen to have any benchmarks of Windows games do you? I'd be looking at GTA 5, Witcher 3, Arma 3 as examples of things, or just more standardised benchmarks. Also, more photos would be appreciated while I try to wrap my head around the power modifications/cables that are needed to power the GPU and the enclosure. Thanks
Dschijn
@gg1: Any other GTX970 will give you almost equal results in benchmarks

Great work btw!
Dschijn
Used the MSI some time ago, but I am sure it was working with Optimus as well. I am sure any Geforce should be able to use Optimus.
