8560w , 8760w and 8570w - Do they support Optimus?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I was going to buy one of those machines, but I read they don't support Nvidia Optimus - is that true? That would be a huge No-no for me, as I sometimes like to use my notebook on battery. My M14xr2 has 30% wear on it's battery and still can be used for 5 hours for web browsing and text editing all thanks to Optimus.

2nd/3rd gen Elitebooks with dGPUs, including your shortlist, do not support Optimus.

If wanting battery life then consider getting the iGPU-only model. Can add an eGPU via their expresscard slot if need more graphics speed.

Or alternatively, consider an equivalent Dell Latitude. They support Optimus.
