If you are going to update to the latest version, you will loose compatibility with the old OS X NVIDIA web driver. Do the following to re-enable your driver with the new update and new NVDIA web driver.1. Update to 10.9.5 2. Download and install NVIDIA Cuda 6.5.18 here NVIDIA DRIVERS 6.5.18 3. Download and install NVIDIA WebDriver 334.01.03f01.pkg here http://us.download.nvidia.com/Mac/Qu...4.01.03f01.pkg You will not be able to install the web driver because it will not recognize your hardware; [EDIT] this step can be skipped if you downloaded a modded package.[ATTACH=CONFIG]12589[/ATTACH] Follow the steps here on how to skip the hardware verification How to Install OSX Drivers on Unsupported Systems – Daniel Kramnik's Project Log 4. This will re-start your OS. Make sure you select the NVDIA web driver from the NVDIA Driver Manager in the Systems Preferences. 5. Modify the KEXT files /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartup.kext /System/Library/Extensions/IONDRVSupport.kext /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleHDAController.kext and issue the following sudo kextcache -system-caches 6.
