Intel 6300 wifi CODE 10 - Any ideas

hi guys i bought one of these off ebay not really reading description (IBM card)

Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 wireless card A/B/G/N (eBay item 390307758326 end time 20-Jul-11 17:29:55 AEST) : Computers

installed in my m17xr2 and getting CODE 10 (cannot start device) with latest intel drivers & IBM Drivers.

any ideas

Yeah that's what I would do... I hate eBay got a Fujitsu n6010 for $700 years ago and it was in perfect condition but anything else has been a hassle. I don't like their policies and much prefer Amazon. Hope you get the card returned and refunded.

I believe this card is only compatible with Lenovo Y460 560 and IBM T410 X201 T510 laptops only!! I bought this Intel WiFi Link Ultimate-N 6300 Half PCI Card 633ANHMW | eBay for my m17x r2.

Did you try power drain? Pull AC, battery, CMOS battery and hold power button down for +-20 seconds? Remember some people needed that when upgrading their wifi card.

I bought this DELL 4W00N Card, Wireless, PUMAPEAK33 | eBay as it has the same part code from Dell for the R2. Works flawlessly.
