cypher64
Are there any aftermarket replacement fans for the g75 that offer better performance or are quieter? Not that it really needs it I just like doing stuff like that.Has anyone pulled theirs apart and replaced the thermal paste?

o0vash0o
I did re-paste my processor and vcard. i use thermal compound (tuniqx4) and the performance goes well from 60c to 50c on full load.
ryiad
the stock thermal paste are crap..use some artic silver. your cpu will run much cooler and your fans wont have to work that hard to cool your heat sinks
buggerz
Somebody here was able to get 10C less by pulling out the blue wire on the fan (it doesn't damage the wire, and you can put it back in later). Basically it allows the fan to default at 100% speed. Try it out if you're interested.http://forum.techinferno.com/asus-gaming-notebook-forum/3456-%240-spent-10-7-celcius-g75vw.html
PCforMax
As a gamer I had the problem with cooling my PC for many years.Three years ago I found on youtube a very helpful tutorial about a thermal paste named K5 PRO and since then this paste is my preferred. You can see the tutorial below and if you want to solve this crucial problem on your PC, I recommend you to buy this product
