crispy duck
Is there a way to switch the graphics on the r3 like you can on the r1?
foremi
The R2 and R3 use Nvidia optimus to switch graphics cards. Its all automatic and seamless, but you can go in and say which gpu to use for certain apps.
cipolini2bb
try using the nvidia control panel's "3D Settings" area. You can then select individual programs and tell the drivers what GPU to use with each. In most cases though, the automatic setting works best. b1naryx
I heard the automatic setting can cause issues though?
broslovski
I heard the automatic setting can cause issues though? That generation of auto-switching is a lot better than previous versions. There have only been a couple of games that haven't auto detected & needed to be manually specified in the NV control panel...
naruto_kun
You can do it this way. Right click the program "Run with graphic processor" -> High Performance NVidia-Processor
cruelb
Its automatic switch because new driver has nvidia optimus.
