Comments:

* Confirmed by Lenovo support. Also note its b, g ,n +bt card, no A or AC.

**Not sure which of these two 2230s is witelisted in Y510P bios, maybe both.

*** One antenna 1x1, not worth buying

**** 99% certainty that it will work with y510p.

Do you have the sleep problem?

I have installed AC 7260 and am really annoyed by the waking up immediately after sleep.

Anyone is able to solve this, please?

I have the sleep problem even prior to upgrading from the Atheros chipset never really gotten any solution around it

For me it's 80.07.A8.00.0F according to GPU-Z (Mine is a single GPU system).

Hahaha, okay, well, that's why I'm saying Lenovo is doing some odd stuff.

What's a reasonable default 3d voltage for that chip? 1V? Or put differently, how high does the nvidia driver set the voltage when the card boosts?

well either that v staus is for cpu or so since when i checked tabs CPU:OCCT, CPU: LINKPACK, GPU: 3D, POWER SUPPLY all of them has same window with 12,25- 12,26 so i guess either it's cpu voltage or so instead.

while gpu-z gave 1.310V on VDDC

Sup dudes, here's the mod, please let me know if everything's fine.

Don't have much time at the moment, will be away for some days, gonna update the main post and instructions when I'm back.

So... Generally it works just as before, but I advise you to update to v2.07 (if you're not already on that version) before going to modded 3.05.

Then you basically follow the procedure as described in the first post, but you'll have to flash the EC separately. I recommend flashing it before going to modified BIOS 3.05. Just put the files in the EC folder on your DOS stick and execute the "EC.bat" (make sure you're on AC and not Battery only).

Then you can go ahead and flash the BIOS. After flashing the BIOS go to the setup and load the default settings.

I'll look into the ME Update when I'm back. If anyone could post a screenshot of Nvidia Inspector showing the OC stuff I'd appreciate that, just to make sure I didn't mess up.

Cheers!

Yay finally does this one unlock the menus right?
