Hi,

I changed my graphic card (it was a GTX 680M, the old burnt) by the same model on my laptop MSI GT70 but the new doesn't work.:72:

She is recognize by the system like a VGA Standard Card.

When i try to install a Nvidia driver for my card, i have 2 cases :

- the installation works but after the restart, the display stay on "Starting windows" but the laptop starts (i can stop him with "Alf+f4 and t").

- the Nvidia's setup say "you don't have any Nvidia Card on your system"

Any ideas ?

Thank you for your answer but i can't install with a .INF.

When i uninstall the Vga Standard Card (it's the GTX 680M) to install the card with a .INF, when the laptop restart windows install always the card like a Vga Standard Card even if i choose to install manually the new peripheral.

Did you overwrite INF file correctly?

I notice the INF file will be nvwin.inf.txt. You must remove .txt extension.

Unlocked bios is good way to make the machine can recognize 680m.

You need to change booting EFI compatible to Legacy ROM in PCI-E section.
