theagent
Hello all, I haven't really been using my laptop for gaming, but I'm getting set up to play FFXIV: RR, and just noticed that the Default Clock for the Ultrabay 750M is lower than the internal 750M. Am I missing something, or is this normal? The Default Clock for the 750m should be 1058MHz.
octiceps
You forgot to flash the modified vBIOS onto the Ultrabay GPU, hence the internal 750M says [MODIFIED] next to its BIOS version but the Ultrabay doesn't.
theagent
Actually, the internal always said MODIFIED, oddly enough, even before flashing, but yes, now I see, it was normally 941MHz at stock. Thanks for clearing that up. I need to get myself a new wifi card so I can re-flash the bios and get that little extra bump in performance. Jeet7
While playing games, I notice that there is a 30 fps limit to all the settings i use in my lenovo y500 with nvidia gt 750m. Why is this so? After flashing svl7's 2.04 mod bios, is there any 30 fps limit? How much more will i be able to OC the 750m?
