Hi, i'm new to this forum and i found this is very useful for eGPU testings.

I have a ACER Aspire 4750G Core i5, 8GB RAM laptop with Intel HD3000+ Nvidia 540M. Iselected the intergrated graphics only in BIOS and i can't figure out is there enough TOLUD to do eGPU to this laptop. If anyone tell me that how much TOLUD i have and can i use plug & play egpu without using DSDT.

(Please MODs don't move this, I just want this question answered otherwise I can't move forward. Nobody reads the provisional guides specially from a nobody like me -_-)

I know this might be stupid question but if I don't ask I wont learn wont I? :P

So I've been reading on TOLUD and I figured more about it know so maybe I can ask a better question now. As for size, I'm confused. I'm seeing different sizes here and I was hoping that somebody could enlighten me on why I have different memory sizes assigned to a GPU. Is my TOLUD 3.0 , 3.25 or >4+? I don't understand why there is 3 different entries for it.

After I re enabled the dGPU to switchable in BIOS the memory address goes down to C0000000. So in this case is the TOLUD value is gone down?

You do not have C0000000. You don't round down but up in your case(and in most cases) so you've got D0000000 which is 3,25 GB. This value should be fine though, it's the maximum that is allowed if I'm not wrong.

It's a bit strange though that the TOLUD is lower if the dGPU is activated. I'd expect it to be the other way.
