Tera has recently become Tera:Rising and is now free to play. If you play it post your character name(s) below.

For those that do not know, it is an MMO where you have to actually aim rather than click and mash keys. It is possible to play with a controller for those interested.

Is the world persistent or full of instanced dungeons? So far I haven't seen a single good MMO since the days of Asheron's Call where the entire world was alive and nothing was instanced. Plus it was true PVP (where you could dodge arrows/spells) and loot your enemy after killing them.

Edit: I THINK I might have played this game before back in beta if I remember correctly. Its a Korean game right built on the Unreal Engine? If so that game was so boring, it was a pure grindfest and while it had realtime combat, the quests were utter shit.

Some zones are pretty grindfest heavy, others are actually pretty combat intensive. I like it. The BAM battles can get really fun/intense.

This is the one MMO game where I literally sweat on my gamepad/keyboard/mouse while playing. I liked it, but wasn't a big fan of the fully Asian artistic style.
