jjd5th
Hello All, I have been in the process of updating my BIOS on my P150SM-A to support a GTX 1060 upgrade. Unfortunately, the laptop shut off while I was in the middle of flashing the BIOS and now I am stuck with a black screen on boot. I have a CH341a programmer on the way, but I am hoping to find a solution in the meantime. I can still use the keyboard (fn+1) turns on the fans. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to use fn+b to recover from a USB. The USB has been formatted for MSDOS and has the BIOS from file on it (titled "P150SMA030.rom"). fn+b seems to do nothing, and I have tried multiple USB ports. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can fix this without programming the chip directly? If that is my only solution, could anyone point me to the BIOS chip to help me save time? Any help is greatly appreciated! Edited August 17 by jjd5th
