lordvader111 Posted April 14, 2013 Share Posted April 14, 2013 Hi everybody; I've bought a Dell 7970m for my Gx660 but unfortunately the card has a newer vbios :015.022 When i put it in my laptop,it doesnt boot.blank screen as usual but system starts but no hdd as fan spins only. Wesley-Alex Posted April 24, 2013 Share Posted April 24, 2013 No,TDP and VBIOS problem do not cause blank screen.TDP problem usually happened in gaming or in benchmark,it will suddenly shut down. VBIOS problem usually give crash. But at least you can enter Windows OS.So it just simply because it do not support your system or your HD 7970M is dead already.
