Stevenxowens792
Deadbydawn et All,Please after updating the bios, perform some tests while logging the GPU temps to see exactly when you start getting throttling in speed. You should be able to tell by logging and more importantly the actual frame rates in Game. BF3 is pretty good as it pushes the GPU hard. Thanks so much for your effort!I thought someone said the magic number was 65c. But im not sure... this is why i need your help!- - - Updated - - -
svl7
Oh, yeah... I noticed that for example the Clevo 650m drops it's voltage slightly at 65°C, though by modifying the voltage table a bit it seems that this can be circumvented... johnz
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum.Just wanted to thank svl7 first for the great work!On other note, I have a sort of a problem..I flashed the A03 bios which seems to be working properly, afterburner now shows a higher max than the default +135 for the core, however, if I open up GPU-Z and go to the sensors tab to check if my clocks are properly checking in, I see that my GPU Core Clock always stays at 745.2, no matter what I set it to. My GPU Memory Clock, on the other hand, effectively changes from the default 1000.3 to whatever +value I set it to in afterburner, only my core doesn't change. Could anyone help me with this? I think svl7 is working on it.... but i'm also happy with a unlocked bios, so i hope to see the results soon. But so far i'm happy with my m14x r2, it have temprature is almost always between the 40-50c. Even if i game it hit almost never higher than 55, now i'm using a cooler it will stay always -50.
