just wanted to know if I will be able to flash the modded BIOS with the SPI even if Boot Guard is enabled (won't it brick the laptop if Boot Guard is enabled?).

In this laptop model, if you are using a hardware SPI programmer, this does not matter.

Ok great,

So I managed to make a dump of my bios with the CH341A programmer (it's the current latest X250 BIOS version). You can download it here: https://mab.to/t/vspkY38AYuP/eu1

Here is the list of mods I would need:

- Advanced BIOS Menu

- Disable CFG Lock (if option is not present in Advanced BIOS Menu)

- WLAN and LCD Panel whitelist removal (if still present, I think it has been removed with the latest BIOS versions)

And of course thanks a lot for your time and work!

Hello,

Could you please remove the whitelist and unlock advanced bios for this lenovo X260 bios ? It is here:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1W5821ntjnwkal7irOAskWe-vhmq_9U76/view?usp=sharing

I tried to do modify it with UEFItool and Ghidra, but even if I change a single byte it plays a beep melody and does not boot. Is there a checksum or some kind of signature ?

Have a good day.

Hi!
No, it's not a whitelist. I think your WWAN slot is not compatible with the e-GPU on a hardware level.
