Hi!

To move all serial numbers, UUID, Service TAG, MAC addresses, Windows keys, NVRAM settings, etc. to new bios file, you need to use hardware SPI - programmer (like CH341A). Read the first post of this thread.

Can I just clarify that the bios chip on X260 can be read and flashed without desoldering? I was told that it must be desoldered because the reat of the MB takes power while trying to flash.

Thanks

i have problems installing a NVME in a X260. NVME are intalled with the "nvme cable" DC02C007K20  with nvme lines, and T470p PCIe M.2 2280 to SATA Express adapter  but my ssd its not recognized

Mod bios can solve mi problem, with whitelist or advanced menu?

thanks!

Hi!

I also seen info about Successful x260 NVMe conversion:  https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/comments/9dysoa/successful_x260_nvme_conversion/

But author didn't wrote what the bios version he used. And if he use bios with unlocked whitelist.

hi all,

i am new to this and have a Lenovo x260 and just purchased AirSierra 7455 card and upon installation and booting up

i get the error like most people here about unauthorized card being installed - System Halted.

so i disabled WWAN line in the BIOS in order to boot to windows.

so, what is my first step to get WWAN working in my x260?

thank you,

Hani

Hi!

Your AirSierra 7455 not work? With what error? You use MC 7455 or EM 7455?

I get the error saying unauthorized card is in, replace the card, system halted.

It is EM

In this case, as first step, you need to read your bios chip with hardware SPI programmer, just read and follow instructions in first post of this thread.

Hopefully the dump is okay because its my first time doing this. Could you please unlock the screen whitelist and any other whitelist that is on there? and also advanced bios would be nice too.. thanks!

Hello, maybe I'm not going there, but please tell me if you know. The problem is the following, when the laptop is turned on, it thinks for about 10 seconds and only after that a red LENOVO splash screen appears and the OS continues loading. In addition to this pause at the beginning, there are no complaints about the work of the laptop. The bios battery is working properly. I tried to reset and update the bios, nothing helped. Maybe updating the bios from this topic will somehow be able to solve this problem with a pause? Or are there any official firmware capable of solving this? Thank you in advance.

Hi!

I think your problem may be related with corrupted ME firmware.
