Enable Intel graphics on P7XXTM1 BIOS?

Recommended Posts

It's locked & hidden by default, but I've got an i7 8700k & I'd like to utilise the intel 'quick sync'/hardware acceleration in Adobe encoding in order to speed up rendering. You don't need to have a display connected to it for it to work (i believe), but it's really fustrating how it is locked out, as it means I'm missing out on quite a useful time saving feature.

Is there any way to activate or mod this?

Thanks!

Hi!
Post here your file backup of bios, I'll take a look what we can do with it.
For creating backup of bios you can use attached program. Extract attached archive directly on the Desktop and run the program as Administrator (right click mouse). Program will create archive "results" directly on the Desktop. Upload this archive "results" to any fileserver, and post the link.

Hi Klem,

Sorry for the delay,

Please see below results file as requested:

https://files.henstaff.co.uk/index.php/s/MJxStPKpfpRZQ6M

If its at all possible, i'm more after the cpu and memory timing options , but anything you can enable in the bios would be greatly appricated.

Thanks again.

Hi!

Ok. Check PM.

Hello @Klem,
I'd also love to have option to enable Intel i7-8700k graphics and disable Nvidia GTX 1070 mobile on my Clevo P751-TM1-G laptop. i've sent you the BIOS files that i'm currently using via DM.
Thanks very much in advance.

Hi!

If you want, I can unlock hidden advanced menus and settings in your bios, but I don't know if it can help you to use Intel quick sync video on premiere pro with your I9-9900k.

Is there a specific reason why the integrated graphics card is disabled on P7xxTM1?

My machine learning laptop has that motherboard and I would like to enable the integrated Intel GPU in it (in addition to the dedicated Nvidia GPU that's present in the system).

Don't worry, it's not virus, it's low level utility to create bios backup. All guys on this forum use it without any problem. If you, in any case, don't like to use it, you can create your bios backup with any another utility.

Hello fellow technicians, I have acer e1-531 that after installing an i5 (from factory it comes with a celeron b960) started to shut down after 30 minutes, searching the internet I found that it would be necessary to make a modification in the bios to accept this processor, could someone help me with this case?

      Hello everyone,
My new laptop Thunderobot Zero 11800H_RTX3060 have a locked bios. I tried CPU undervolt via ThrottleStop utility and Intel XTU utility, but they didn't work. I heard I need to unlock advanced settings in BIOS to unlock these utilities. So, I need help to unlock hidden advanced settings. Thanks!

I have a p150sm which has a seemingly dead 780m due to a perpetual error 43 which came after a big BSOD about 6 months ago. I upgraded the laptop to a 980m and modded the inf files. The upgrade was perfectly fine for a week. One day, i left the laptop and something related to sleep or power may have caused the laptop to shut off. Since then, the laptop with the 980m won't boot. I tried many things like resetting cmos, taking out the hardware and putting it back in, and resetting bios, and buying a 230W adapter. Nothing worked. The laptop works fine with the old dead 780m in there, but now when the 980m is in there, holding the power button generates a green light flash and then the power LED goes back to orange. No sounds, maybe one tick, and that's it. What is left to try?
