Hi Klem! I've linked to my T440p binary---any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I got stuck when trying to patch the file, so I was glad to see that this thread was still active. :)

I'm hoping to remove the wireless card whitelist and enable overclocking/undervolting.

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm Brazilian, so I'm using a translator.

I have a ThinkPad T440p, with bios version 2.55.

I would like to remove the Whitelist in order to change the wireless card. can you help me?

Would I be able to provide a bios without the whitelist for me to rewrite here?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi!

As first step, you need to read your bios chip with hardware SPI-programmer and get your bios dump. Just read the first post of this thread.

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I backed up my notebook's bios. I read and saved the bin file.

Could you unlock whitelist so I can change the wireless card? If possible, unlock the advanced menu.

I put on mediafire the link to download.

thank you so much.

Hi!

Ok. As first step, you need to read your bios chip with hardware SPI-programmer and get your bios dump.  You need to read your bios dump from your bios chip (using hardware SPI programmer, how to do it, read the first page of this thread), may be multiple times and compare in any hex editor (for example HxD), all dumps should be identical.

If you will meet with some problems with read bios dump from your bios chip, then try to use different software version.

All software versions for Ch341A programmer I placed into this link:  https://files.fm/u/vchnhg37k

I recommend you use software AsProgrammer_1.4.1

Hi!

To unlock your bios, you need bios dump from chip named MX25L3273E only. But I recommend you to read and save the dumps from both chips, just in case.

Ok. Check PM.

Klem.  I was using an unlocked BIOS from you on my T440P without issue.  However, I somehow updated my BIOS firmware on accident and now its locked again.  Would you be so kind as to help me unlock it again?
