Hi!

If I understand you correctly, does your laptop have an AMD processor? And you want to enable AMD-V virtualization technology?

This thread for enable AMD-V technology on some Acer laptop models (which use AMD platform and AMD CPU's). But your laptop Acer Aspire E5-573 based on Intel platform, and use Intel CPU. Intel CPU's can't support AMD-V technology. So, I don't understand what you ask?

Why?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Mr.Klem,

I'm not able to run the H2OUVE software.

Microsoft Windows [Versione 10.0.22621.675]
(c) Microsoft Corporation. Tutti i diritti riservati.

C:\Windows\System32>cd C:\H2OUVE

C:\H2OUVE>H2OUVE.exe   -gv   vars.txt
Now parsing Variable Information.
LoadDeviceDriver fail, GetLastError = 0x800b010c
Failed to get bios data!
Fail to get Variable Information.

C:\H2OUVE>

Any idea?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Mr.Klem,

I found the problem.

This software (or this version) not work in Windows 10/11.

I tried with PE Version of Windows 8.1, where the software has worked successfully.

This is the "vars.txt" file from my PC: https://files.fm/u/j4n5pa6vg

Model: ACER Aspire E5-553G (E5-553-T17H)(NX.GESET.002);

Processor: AMD Quad-Core Processor A10-9600P with Turbo CORE Technology up to 3.30GHz;

Graphics: AMD Radeon™ R5 Graphics;

Memory: 16GB DDR4 Memory / 240GB SSD Memory;

OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro (Version 10.0 / Build 22621.755).

Can I have the modded "vars.txt" file with AMD-V feature enabled?

Thanks in advance for your help.
