tereu5
Hello, For any of you ...which of the drivers are best in general for the 970M? I am struggling to get it to work. I mean driver during the Windows installation works (the one that Windows picks automatically) the only issue I have with them is that OPTIMUS does not work completely. Nothing wants to use the 970m despite profiles set to use high performance card... But whenever I try to install other once it comes as unsupported hardware (used Mr Fox modded once and passed the hardware check and started installation but 5sec in Fails to do so-pic enclosed; did the DSE disabling as well if any one wondering, also windows 10, full UEFI, fresh install of windows) The device ID is as per picture Also when I have used the Fn+F7 (or F5 dont rem now) to swap to dedicated after reboot got nothing and few beeps pointing to gfx and only CMOS battery removal revives the machine. Is there a version of unlocked bios that will alow to disable Intel GPU and to install thos darn drivers? wuruochong
Hmm... newest drivers seems to have decreased stability for me in the Witcher 3. Game crashes 5-10 minutes at stock clocks and I actually have to underclock core by about 50-100 to avoid crashes. Curious, the Witcher 3 is notorious for being extremely sensitive to even slightly modified clocks (even when similarly demanding games and benchmarks like Heaven are completely rid of artifacts much less crashing) but I've never had this issue before with old drivers and certainly not at stock settings. Just a standard install (with the modded inf files of course) with stock vbios, clocks, and everything else. I've been wondering, could this be a hardware issue? I've been pushing my card pretty hard recently with Ghost Recon Wildlands and Mass Effect Andromeda and Andromeda especially ran pretty hot at around 78-81 degrees for me. Could there have been damage done to the card?
technos
Hi J95, I've been using your drivers for single 980M in the M18x R2 without issue. However, I recently added a second 980M, and now when I enable SLI, I get driver crash every 5-10 seconds and the computer is really unusable. Goes away when I disable SLI. No reported problems in device manager or dell ePSA test
