phillipsgarage
So i had an eGPU with my yosemite build a while back and i had absolutely no issues ever, Yesterday i tried with Sierra and after running the script my machine freezes on boot even without the eGPU and won't boot until i remove the drive and install it into my cMP and then uninstall the script. Ive tried a fresh install of sierra on another drive and same thing. I tried with a GTX 680 4gb and a GTX titan x but it has nothing to do with either as i feel its something to do the the kext being changed and my nMP. The drive will boot no problems on my cMP with the script installed but not in my nMP Ive tried with -m -a -skipdriver all come back with the same issues. Kr4nG
so is sierra compatible with egpu? I just updated my osx 10.11.6 el capitan and my nvidia driver is disabled saying no new update. It referred back to the osx nvidia driver. What shoud I do. Update to sierra and reinstall script? or what
MVC
You're overthinking. Either run the clown's script or mod the files yourself. Each OS build has a driver. macvidcards.com has a drivers page with each build listed and a link to download the driver
