Hello @Klem! I'm thinking of buying a new wifi 6 network card (Intel AX200 NGWG) to install on my Lenovo Y50-70, so I guess I'm gonna need to whitelist that right?

So my question is:

Should I buy and install the new network card and run the program you will send me for the bios results, run with the old network card, or it doesn't matter at all even if I run the program without the network card? Thanks in advance! Cheers!

Thank you for your answer. So what should I do, what's the next step?

When you will need to replace Wi-Fi card, you can send me your backup BIOS file to unlock the whitelist.

You can post here or send me your file backup of bios in PM.  For creating backup of bios you can use attached backup tool. Extract attached archive directly on the Desktop and run  backup tool as Administrator (right click mouse, choice "Run as Administrator). Backup tool will create archive "results" directly on the Desktop. Post here or send me this archive "results" via PM, or upload it into any fileserver and send me the link.

I run Backup tools as you said (as administrator)  but no file created anywhere... Any suggestions?

This is the message:

The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
green Backup-test fully passed.
Pressing any key will result in opening website www.sendspace.com
results.rar file was placed on your desktop.
Upload results.rar file and provide the download link.
Press any key...

No file created and same message...

In this case, you can create your bios backup with this way:

Download and extract the attached archive Backup.rar , then copy "Backup" folder directly on the disk C:

Then open Command Prompt as Administrator, then execute these commands in Command Prompt window :

cd \

cd  Backup

read

After each command press the Enter button.

Done. Now you can see your file bios backup (results.bin) .

Hello from me too, Klem.  I would like to congratulate you for the amazing job you are doing and for all your personal time you are devoting to all of the users.

I also have the same request for unlocking my BIOS (complete unlock if it is possible) in order to breath some life in my ageing laptop. I have a Y50-70 with 16GB of RAM and an Nvidia 860m with 4GB of graphics memory.

Here is the link for my bios https://www.sendspace.com/delete/2heffz/9ef2aaf6c1387637ec288437e973bb71

 Thank you in advance.
