  1. I recently bought a "Lenovo Ideapad Y500". I like it a lot, but there is one big problem: the games doesn´t run properly. On notebookcheck.com "Max Payne 3" gets around 70 fps on medium. I get 8-15 fps on medium with some settings turned off."Red Faction: Armageddon" gets 8-19 fps.On notebookcheck.com "Metro 2033" gets around 80 fps on high. I get 20-30 fps on high with some settings turned off.All three games were tested in both DirectX 9 and 11. The fps i wrote about is from DirectX 9.Specifications:3. generation quad-core Intel Core i7 processor (3630QM)8 gb RAM (DDR3)Nvidia GT 750m (SLI) (GDDR5)1 terabyte capacityFull HD screen (1920x1080)Windows 10
  2. Specs: 4900MQ, 16Gb, 980m SLI. I recently upgraded my GPU from 780m SLI to 980m SLI. I am facing performance issues. I had very low passmark 43xx, I mainly play dota 2 and with my 780m sli, i used to get around 120FPS on medium settings. With the new 980m sli i am getting anywhere from 80fps to 30fps on highest settings. And FPS is not stable at all. If i even drop the settings to medium or low I still get the same fps. I got the latest drivers for everything and made sure that SLI is turned on. I am missing anything? Any help would be appreciated.
  3. So yeah I am having a performance issue with my laptop. Every time I play games the fps is going "wild" it drops from 100 fps to 48 and does it the whole gaming time and I have done everything to fix it but none of them have worked for me and then one of your members suggested me to use a program called throttle stop 3.0 but I don't have no idea how to use it so help would appreciated and tips what's causing this trouble
  4. Hi guys, second thread here before long time reading this forum for problems, really need help here becouse i dont undestand what is the problem. I have a Alienware MX17r3 with a gtx770m upgraded, this was 2 years ago and i dont haved any problem (only the usually incompatibilitys, integrated intel graphics disabled and figthing to get sound working). Then i format my pc with the same windows ver. w7 x64 home premium (SP1) and after a few days, my GPU doesnt work properly. I having low fps and fps drops all the time. I tried upgrading drivers to 355 (i haved 350 and it worked fine for me ever), clean reinstalls, formated another time and cloned with a image when it worked fine, checked temperature, dis/enable GPU, antivirus scan, bios default, checkd high perfomance in power options and nvidia panel, unistalling nvidia experience/hd sound, disabling windows transparecy and the only thing worked for 1/2 days was a system recuperation (that was after the format and cloning) with drivers reinstall. Dunno what can i do now. Sorry for my english.
  5. Hi, I have a y510p laptop, with i5 cpu and a single 755m gt gpu. I am wondering - why some games have so poor performance even on lowest settings? I have done a clean install of GPU drivers today but it didn't help at all. I tried playing Battlefield 4, but I get about 20FPS on LOWEST POSSIBLE SETTINGS. Meanwhile, on Battlefield 3, or Max Payne 3, I can max out the game and have about 40-60FPS without a problem. I also had this problem with GTA 4, it's just weird that gta barely works, meanwhile a game on an updated engine works flawlessly on MAX settings with about 60FPS. I am playing while on high performance mode, and I tried to change nvidia settings to my NVIDIA GPU only, and changing power plan to MAX performance. Am I the only one who has this problem?
