      Introducing T|I Marketplace/Classifieds!   11/24/16

After a long wait, Tech|Inferno now has a Marketplace/Classifieds section where all registered (promoted and above) members can participate in selling, trading and seeking out items. This service is free to all members to use as they wish. Currently all ads last for a period of 14 days before they expire for promoted users. Those users belonging to T|I Elite, Contributor, Developer and Moderator have access to 30 day ad periods that are featured   Some easy rules to remember: Do not post multiple ads of the same product. Do not advertise here if you are a retailer or business. You must contact Tech|Inferno for advertising space. Keep ads civil, do not try to lowball members. You may contact them in private via PM if you feel their price is not to your liking. Harassing members will result in an infraction. It is recommended you have Heatware/eBay feedback to establish trading credibility.    Tech|Inferno assumes no liability for any sales posted in the Classified section. Always use common sense when buying/selling with traders and ask for their heatware/ebay feedback!   Enjoy!

  5. Just looking for a new game to play thought about ff14 I played ffx11 for awhile. Any good online games other than wow ?
  6. Hi, I have a y510p laptop, with i5 cpu and a single 755m gt gpu. I am wondering - why some games have so poor performance even on lowest settings? I have done a clean install of GPU drivers today but it didn't help at all. I tried playing Battlefield 4, but I get about 20FPS on LOWEST POSSIBLE SETTINGS. Meanwhile, on Battlefield 3, or Max Payne 3, I can max out the game and have about 40-60FPS without a problem. I also had this problem with GTA 4, it's just weird that gta barely works, meanwhile a game on an updated engine works flawlessly on MAX settings with about 60FPS. I am playing while on high performance mode, and I tried to change nvidia settings to my NVIDIA GPU only, and changing power plan to MAX performance. Am I the only one who has this problem?
  7. Steam Grid View Banners Saw a thread for this on NeoGAF, so I figured T|I could use one too since we have some talented people here who can make these as well. This thread will be used for posting Steam Grid View Banners. The latest Steam Beta allows you to add custom banners, and a lot of us are missing banners in our collections. Post yours here and share it with T|I! Someone may like it enough to use it themselves or you may help out someone who is looking to complete their collection. 8. So what games are you playing right now? Since I'm in the process of doing my R3 review, I've got dirt 2, fuel, toca 3, metro 2033, l4d2, bf:bc2, homefront, gta iv, batman arkham asylum, and the starcraft 2 demo installed. I still would like to find another sci fi 3rd person game like mass effect 2 though, anyone have recommendations? I've heard good things about The Witcher.
  9. GSC Game World has revealed some new details of STALKER 2, which is in development for PC and consoles. According to GSC, this development will not compromise to the original PC version in any way that will support Direct X 11. STALKER 2 will have more elements of survival horror on a new engine platform. GSC confirms that the PC version is the main, and keep intact the system inventory and maps. Terror will come from new areas and underground bunkers in the area between CNPP, Chernobyl and Chernobyl 2, with new types of mutants. There will be new weapons, and removed the faction system. Is expected to launch by 2012.

In Brink, two factions, Resistance and Security, battle in a once-utopian city called The Ark, a floating city above the waters of a flooded Earth.(wiki) I have been watching the videos on their site and it looks pretty darn fun! It comes out tomorrow, May 10th.
