  1. Hi, The first of all, i need to say that my EXP GDC Beast V8.3E works perfect the 3 first days. The problem start when i turn on my computer and i saw that the monitor is not turned on, i check the device manager and i saw that (HORROR) code 43 .My first idea was to unistall it from the device manager and it will fix it, NOPE. Nowadays i try ALL that i can imagine and found on internet*, i dont realy know what is the problem, the first days works PERFECT i realy think that i have the best invention that i can find for a notebook. I have tried unistalling NVIDIA drivers, unplugin the exp gdc completely and leaving it exactly the same like i installed exp gdc the first time, start the pc, install the default notebook NVIDIA drivers and the wifi card, next going to bios and disabling network boot and changing graphics mode to integrated, next i install the drivers of the eGPU (it needs a reboot for unistalling default nvidia drivers) and again restarting the notebook, result= SAME ERROR (Code 43 on device manager and not working monitor) then i try some other solutions but finaly decide to RESET the notebook and installing Windows 8 (Original) with the same process (removing EXP GDC setup and leaving the notebook like the first time and bla bla) with the EXACT same error. I really dont KNOW what is the problem :(, the only thing i think that it can be the problem was a strange factory bug or related. I write this to receive some help from someone that can help me to fix it, i will apreciate it :). Sry of my bad english :S. My Notebook: Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 3.10GHz (Factory OC) RAM: 8 GB of DDR3 dGPU: NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 630M 2 GB iGPU: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 ?GB Model: Acer Aspire V3-571G (supported by the exp gdc beast v8) Bios: 1.12v (i think) EXP GDC: External PSU: 450W Graphic: NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 550TI 1 GB Driver version 364.51 PCT delay set to 0 EXP GDC Beast V8.0 Mini PCI-E Version (buyed it on banggood)
  2. Hi everyone, I'm newbie here so if I'm posting somewhere wrong or smth like that just warn me. I search in this forum and also at google about "code 12" and "code 43" almost thousands times. Specially for exp gdc but couldn't find anything can help me. I looked for modded bios, whitelist.. At least I realized that there is no modded bios for my pc(I'm gonna write all supported bios versions down here). All cable connections are correct, I can see Nvidia GTX 1070 at device manager with error code 12 and sometimes code 43. I couldn't disabled my amd redeon graphics in bios, just uninstalled from device manager with files. Now my pc running only with Intel HD 3000 by own screen. I do not get any display on my 24" screen which one is connected to 1070 by HDMI. But when I boot my pc, 1070 fans are running with white lights are on GPU. But screen display doesn't show anything. Pc running with own screen. My PC Specification; (Windows 10 - 64 Bit) Product Number A7N33EA Microprocessor 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7-2670QM Chipset Intel HM65 Express Microprocessor Cache 6 MB L3 cache Memory 16 GB DDR3 Memory Max Supports up to 16 GB DDR3 (2 user accessible) Video Graphics AMD Radeon HD 7690M XT (2 GB DDR5 dedicated) Hard Drive 1 TB SATA (5400 rpm) Up to 16 GB partition for system recovery Multimedia Drive Blu-ray ±R/RW with SuperMulti DVD±R/RW Double Layer Display 39,6 cm (15.6") 39,6 cm (15,6") Full HD anti-glare LED (1920 x 1080) Network Card Integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Wireless Connectivity 802.11 b/g/n; Bluetooth Sound Beats Audio BIOS Versions; F.12(SP55375) F.19(SP57474) F.1A(SP58987) F.1B(SP59775) F.1C(SP60655) - Current Exp gdc connected by m-pci/e. I have 350W PSU just for GPU.(170W needed) I tried to install nvidia driver, remove amd by DDU, run only 1x8gb ram(tried at both slots), remove wifi adapter from device manager with files, Anyone can help me about how to get result-fix this issue. There is no problem to disable pc own 15.6" screen. Just want to run my pc with good screen by 1070. Thank you since now
  3. I'm currently doing a eGPU project on my VPCSA25EC(I5 2520m, 2x4G DDR3, HM67 chipset,Intel HD3000 + ATI HD6630m) with a GTX650TI attached to it. From my previos experience about mounting a GTS450 into this laptop, I create a dump for the graphic card, and load it before compaction(4GB), and I disabled the HD6630m. Without any modification to windows 7, I install the latest official driver (350.xx) and It work, I'm able to connect a external vga screen to GST450, and it works without any problem. But the tragedy starts when I trying to do the same thing to GTX650TI. I setup the driver for it, after restart, the system stucks in the welcome screen for a while, and I end up with Error 43. By inspecting the system log, I found that one of the nvidia driver was unable to start. I tried to boot into win7 first and then sleep, then do a hot-plug and resume. The error 43 does gone, but I'm can not open the Nvidia controll center. Does anyone can come up with any ideas about this problem? I have spent over 40 hours on the previous eGPU project and at least 6 hour on the current one QAQ:bananalama: I recorded the resource usage of GTX650TI and GTS450, in case it's useful: GTS450: 128MB + 64MB + 32MB GTX650TI: 128MB + 32MB + 16MB I got those result from a desktop platform, with the graphic card on the second pcie slot(pcie1x) please help QAQ
  4. After updating my bios from 1.09 to 3.05 my GT 750m stopped working. Nvidia drivers can install but once installed none of the features work. No Nvidia control panel and all of the tabs in Geforce Experience except for the drivers tab are grayed out. The drivers tab does not recognize that the driver has been installed and the option to update the driver is available. Downloading the update and installing it leads to the same issue. With the tabs being grayed out and the driver tab showing that I can update the driver. When I look under Device Manager the 750m has a little yellow triangle and in the properties it reads a Code 43. I have used Display Driver Uninstaller multiple times to do a fresh driver install of both Nvidias drivers and Lenovo's Nvidia drivers. Those lead to the same issue. I can't reinstall the operating system because during the install phase the computer blue-screens if the discreet card is enabled in the BIOS. Right now I am running in UMA Only mode. On startup when using the discreet card the computer sits at a black screen for about 2 minutes until the computer switches to the IGP. So after a completely fresh driver install the card still fails. This only started to happen once I upgraded my bios. (I should have stuck to the "if its not broken don't fix it" rule). I upgraded from v1.09 to v3.05. So now I am wondering if it is possible to downgrade my bios from 3.05 to 1.09 or if that jump is too large. I looked in the bios mod thread and want to use the provided files to downgrade my bios without installing the modified bios. But I am wondering if I will have any issues with the version jump from 3.05 to 1.09 being so large. If that is the case then can I jump from 3.05 to 2.07 then to 1.09.
  5. Hey noobie here, I'm having a really hard time with a new Metabox P177SM-A notebook. I installed Win7 Ultimate x64 and loaded all the drivers and had the Nvidia GPU running fine. All of a sudden I had a code 43 in device manager and it wouldn't work anymore. So i formatted my C: and reloaded win7 and it started working again. Had it running for about 2½ weeks and then turned it off and on again and it's got that damn code 43 again. It's driving me nuts. I've used DDU in safe mode and re-installed to no avail. I really think that with the symptoms mentioned that's it's not likely to be a hardware issue, I have run out of ideas and if anyone has any more ideas or has had something similar please let me know. Cheers
