  1. Hi, I recently bought the new Toshiba RC100 m.2 2242 NVMe SSD for my Lenovo Y510p which has an m.2 port in it. After installation the SSD wasn't showing up in my BIOS and also not on my OS Win 10 disk management. So I did a bit of research and installed mod BIOS for my Y510p by following the steps in the link: ( https://www.techinferno.com/index.php?/forums/topic/3546-lenovo-y410p-y510p-unlocked-bios-wlan-whitelist-mod-vbios-mod/ ) There are a lot more options in the BIOS menu now. Even after doing the mod it's not showing up. The SSD works on my friend's "new 2017 dell gaming laptop" which has m.2 ssd support in it. I don't know what exactly to configure my BIOS to make it work. I've just done some hit-and-trial configs which have eventually failed. If someone can help solve it Pleasee!! P.S. : I can share all the available options available in the BIOS if required.
  2. Hello guys My notebook is a MSI GT70 2PC, need a BIOS with more options, unlocked, and mainly with options for the video card, since I want to disable the dedicated card, I downloaded the modified Xonar rom, but the base of it is a BIOS of 2012, and I do not want to use a BIOS so outdated, can somebody help me with that? Thank you
  3. Hey members! I bought my Lenovo y510p in the summer. I tought it is excellent but after some time i realized how bad this laptop is. I paid 1300euros for this thing and now I have many problems. First is overheating. I tried to change my thermal paste with (Arctic MX-2) It's not reduceing my temps at all. Only solution what reduced my temps were fan control. Second problem is that I can't play my favourite game NBA 2k15. I can't play it even on lowest settings. No matter what i do I can only get about 53fps. What do you guys think, what I should do? I have a headache because of this Lenovo machine. Any help is appreciated. cheers!
  4. This is a modified version of BIOS A10, with all the hidden menus made available. The archive with the BIOS and the necessary files to flash it are attached to the post. After flashing, go to the BIOS menu and load the default settings, save, exit and reboot. As always with such modifications, you alone are responsible for your system and what you do with it. If you flash it, please report back and let me know whether everything is ok. (I'm sure it is, but I don't have an M17x R3 myself to test it ) The menus look exactly the same as all the previous "unlocked" R3 BIOS versions. Tested and confirmed to work, thanks @Staff Sargent !! *********************************************** Please consider a donation if you like this modified BIOS. *********************************************** UPDATE: Had to correct some things, this works fine. Keep in mind that A10 is no longer officially available on Dells support site, I don't know the reason for this, they might have to fix some things. Update 2: BIOS is available again on Dell's site, nothing changed between the version which was on there earlier and now... lol. M17x R3 - [unlocked] BIOS A10.zip
