I was just surprised to see someones actually registered and mine did not.

It's odd, I ran 3DMark after overclocking the GPU's and got the 2nd highest score which shows its obviously working as intended, and while Nvidia Inspector shows GPU core clock at 1100 Mhz 3D Mark shows 405Mhz. When I pull up the Highest 3D Mark which is SpooN^ it shows his at 1100. Any idea why it may not be registering when 3D mark does a scan?

That is essentially what I was running, just wanted to see if anyone else had pushed it more and if it was capable of more. Anyone have a guide for overclocking the processor using the multiplier in the modified 2.02 bios? I have seen a lot of talk about people successfully overclocking it a bit but no real indication of how (or instruction).

So can anyone else report on their successful SLI overclock, settings and benchmark/stability. I'm curious how far everyone has been able to push the GPU's stably without any voltage tweaks.

" Never mind, I got impatient and just finished the flash, worked great. You may want to revise the instructions on the first post for those that run across the same thing.

It depends on your vent configuration on the laptop. Heat rises so theoretically you would want to blow cool air into the bottom of the laptop so the heat can escape through the top. This is excellent on say a Lenovo Y500 or most the Alienware Laptops that have the intake vents on the bottom and outlet vents that blow all the heat out the sides.

How much of an increase is greatly increased? I have been trying to decide whether or not to just dump the money on a new SSD but with the 16GB SSD Caching im not sure that it will make much of a difference in speed, but more battery life would be nice.

Thanks for the information, I was a bit worried about flashing mine to unlock but this will provide some reassurance in the event something goes awry.

I am curious if they can offer upgraded graphics cards for the ultrabay in the future and use that card as the primary and disable the internal 650m. I'd love to drop a GTX 680M in mine.

So anyone able to get the SLI setup overclocked and working stably yet?
