I upgraded to v2.02 mod was going to see the support for the 1866MHz memory corsair however it did not work, from what I saw in 2 places bios appear related to memory where we can change, one is the speed in mhz and another is NMode Support I tested both changing all forms and notebook kept having problems with this memory, unfortunately I will have to go back to 1600mhz

I did, now that I saw the fix, replace and it worked.

When I run the backup.bat both by the DOS windows when I get the msg Error 104: The 2 SPI flash devices not have the compatible command sets. any idea what I'm doing wrong?

CrystalDiskInfo use the program to see the temperature of the disc, I'm using a 256gb ssd to 2.5 "temperature is normal, I saw big difference in battery life, greatly increased.

as leno said, use acronis, I used it on my Y400 after breaking my head trying to make recovery discs for windows, acronis done by backing up all partitions and then deletes the recovery, the image was created by acronis with 25gb (with all partitions) and when I need to restore it takes about 5 minutes, it was the best solution I found. I got to use the software migration from samsung that came with my ssd, however it deletes the other partitions and makes an image of the C drive only, acronis already backs up all partitions, and when you choose to restore the partitions you want to restore, in my case restored 3 partitions, the first of 1000MB, 260MB of the second and then the C drive with the operating system.

svl7 bios v2.02 I used was a Chinese site that automatically updates already, however I did not see any difference for the v2.0 version that came with my original Y400, do not know if I used this v2.02 unlocked, you saw posted a mod bios v2.02 was thinking of passing it over the v2.02 I'm just I'm not getting the download link that you passed, I think it's because I'm new User.
